Macular degeneration

Macular degeneration is a condition that primarily effects the central vision. Patients with macular degeneration may notice their vision appearing wavy or distorted. The subtle changes occur naturally with time and age, and progression of this condition may require medical intervention.
Patients can also monitor their own central vision at home using an Amsler grid, which you can collect during your consultation.
